A moving violation is basically a violation when the vehicle is in motion.

Here's a list of moving violations that I can think of.

Speeding or reckless driving Following too closely (tailgating) Running a stop sign or traffic light Failure to yield to a vehicle with the right of way or to a pedestrian Failure to signal for turns or lane changes (you should ALWAYS signal a big rig) Swerving, in other words not driving within a single lane Driving on the shoulder (some shoulders it's illegal to drive on, usually has a posted sign when it is) Not using a seatbelt And not stopping for a school bus loading or unloading

That's all that I can think of. Hope I helped!

Absolutely! We recommend you get a copy of your driving record so when your company asks you about your past you two will be looking at the same piece of paper. You can get one at your local DMV. Just ask them for a certified copy of your driving record. There is a small fee though. I think the fee is somewhere around 6$.

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

DMV:

Department of Motor Vehicles, Bureau of Motor Vehicles

The state agency that handles everything related to your driver's licences, including testing, issuance, transfers, and revocation.

Personally, I haven't ever went to the dmv to get my driving record. But I'm positive they print it while you're there.

No problem bud. If you have any questions just ask. Your biggest mistake will be to not ask questions. We really don't mind, it's what we do when we aren't driving or sleeping.
