What trucking companies are good for people that come out of truck driving schools?

Most are good. Some are better than others. It all depends on what you are looking for. I chose to go with Swift for several reasons. They have a school in my home State. They offered no money up front 0% financing for training. They are a HUGE company so that normally translates into lots of freight. All of that freight can translate into miles. They run a lot of newer trucks, which in theory should mean less break downs and more driver comfort. As you will hear time and time again on this site and others, YOUR attitude and determination will make or break you at ANY Company. Stick it out with your first Company for at least 1 full year, don't hit anything, don't get any tickets, pick up and deliver your freight on time. At that point you will have a better understanding of your job and the industry in general, then you can decide if you would like to switch to another Carrier. I hope this helps!good-luck.gif

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.
