I am curious if anyone knows anything about Millis, or has heard anything about them? From what research I have done, they are a good company to work for. Has anyone been through their training program? or do you know someone who has been through their training program? Any information would help me very much. Thanks!

Unfortunately I haven't met anyone on TT that went to them, at least no one I can remember. I will say though that their equipment is beautiful. Nice blue KWs. But I have no personal experience with them.

If you're talking to the recruiter and liking everything you see and hear about them then give it a go. I'm sure they're a good company, if they weren't then they wouldn't be keeping their drivers.

I figured finding out some info on them maybe be a small problem, because They are a smaller family owned company. On their Facebook page though I seen a handful of drivers saying they are a great place to work. I will try and see if I can contact some of their drivers and see what they have to say.

I did that for you! smile.gif

I was at a Pilot in WV taking a break yesterday and I saw a Millis driver so I came up to him and started a chat. I told him that I was interested in driving for them so it wouldn't be awkward that I was asking for someone else.

He said that its a small company and usually run in the east and rarely go west of Denver. He's been driving there for a while and said he wouldn't want to work anywhere else. He said he gets at least 2200 miles a week and they get bonuses for miles. He gets a bonus for 2000 miles, a bonus for 2500 and a nice bonus if he drives over 3000 a week. He was an older guy and was very nice, didnt seem trashy and didnt have an odor on him. His KW truck was one of the sexiest trucks I've ever seen in my life.

So from the looks of it you found a good company.

I've seen a few of their trucks out here too. So I know they do come out this far on occasion. So keep us in the loop, its a company that we really don't have anyone who's gone thru the school, that i"ve heard of. GOOD LUCK !!
