They told me ,33 cent per mile OTR
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
I drive a tanker right now just with a difficult configuration. Its a million times more challenging to drive than my 53' reefer was. I cannot in good conscious recommend tankers to rookie drivers.
A refrigerated trailer.
I took a 40hr refresher course and went to Schneider bulk February 2015, the training is good and you will know how to do the job. The pay is low for chemical tanker work, lots of relay loads and low weekly miles. It is probably easier to learn to drive a tanker as your first trailer because you don't have any bad habits yet( they are not bad habits to guys pulling other kinds of trailers) and pulling a tank is much different then anything else.
