Today was the day for my first DOT inspection and what do you know not a single violation! Easy $100 in the old pocket. DOT officer said he pulled me over because I was a Prime truck and he was tired of writing citations today. Figured my truck would be the the first one today he thought would pass. Level 2 so not so terrible. Said Prime Trucks make his job easy. Wished him a good day (nice guy) and off I went. Just wished the rest of my day was so good. Missed my appointment time by 18 minutes and the Dot inspection was 19!

DOT:

Department Of Transportation

A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.

State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.

NICE! Give yourself some credit too. Obviously Prime keeps their trucks in tip top shape, but your Pre Trips keep them that way. Congrats!
