My First Truck Repair

My first truck problem happens to be a very minor one. My red air line cracked near the glad hand. I didn't notice it until I was making a turn in a truck stop, but once I did it started leaking alot faster and the trailer brakes locked. I'd just picked up at the shipper and I didn't hear anything then so it must have cracked while I was making that turn. Wish my phone camera worked so I could post a picture. I got lucky considering it happened in a truck stop with a repair shop, and this load has lots of extra time on it. Oh, and it's not just any truck stop--it's a TA so I can get myself a quick shower while I wait my turn.

Shipper:

The customer who is shipping the freight. This is where the driver will pick up a load and then deliver it to the receiver or consignee.

Glad I'm a company driver--just looked at the repair bill and it was $270! They replaced both air lines and the electrical line but still..yikes!
