Well, I find out if there is some OS & D on this load. I had to restack two pallets and there were some crushed boxes.

Did they let you keep it? I love it when they let me keep it! I've surprised my parents with 20 pounds of spinach artichoke dip one time and got about 70$ worth of candy a different time.

When your in the truck stops, alot of times you'll hear on the cb that someone is giving away stuff, from a refused load, or part of one. We've gotten orange juice, cantaloupes, coffee, cereal, canned goods, fresh produce of all kinds. we'd fill the sleeper up, and the side boxes too. When we ere running reefer , if we got stuff refused( if we were in the Carolina's) we had a list of orphanages that we'd call so they could come get it, or we'd deliver it...we took them a whole pallet of those funny plantain banana things...never knew what they did with them, but they sure were glad to get them. Almost every town has a food bank, soup kitchen, or shelter...its a shame more drivers don't call the local police station to find out if they'd like the stuff.

Starcar, I had a bunch of boxes of ham rejected. You know the sandwich ham that's like 5$ for a small box? They had me go to a house converted into a food bank. They made it a separate load so I got paid for it but that road was definitely not for trucks. That place worked with GMC trucks. Not tractor trailer vehicles. I took up the entire road and the cars had to pull over in the shoulder, was scratching trees nonstop. What an adventure!

Surprisingly, there was NO OS&D. I was actually shocked. I am now heading to Maryland with a load.

Damn Maryland sucks. Especially When you have to go through DC and Baltimore.
