Okay, so I had 2 jobs I held for 1-2 month and the other 3 months from 2013. I provided the phone numbers I found off Google but neither work so I'm assuming they went out of business. I've looked and looked and haven't found any other number and everything I see points to them being out of business. So the problem is trucking company needs to verify the dates. They told me I can provide pay stubs or W2's. I thought great I have the W2's from the tax return forms from that year and also have the actual W2 one of the companies mailed me. However, they say it needs to have the dates on them.None of my past employer's W2's I've received that I kept have dates on them including the employers they did verify already. So I have this info here but they won't accept it since the dates aren't on it. What can I do? They told me to go to IRS or SSA for report but from what I"ve read online is that could take months to receive. I graduate July 8th. Any body know of a quicker way of receiving a "Work History Report print out" that will verify the employment dates?

Thank you!

My suggestion to you is this, go to your nearest SSI office and you can get a printout of your past employers for a few dollars, at least I did that 20 years ago also, lol. But I'm sure if you go there they can do it, to be safe I would call the local pofice 1st and see what they say. Best of luck to ya dude.good-luck.gif
