Thanks 6 String. That was exactly what I was trying to convey. I am a gearhead myself, so it was quite easy for me to distinguish different mechanical parts. There are many people that do not have that background. That is why Daniels handywork is such a great tool. Thanks for clarifying that point!
If you want to make your own flash cards with the materials you got from your school, there's a great app called Anki that you can use for your phone. I used it to study for my pre-trip. You can create the cards on their website (faster than creating them on your phone) and then just download them to your phone. The great thing about these cards is the way it handles your review. Instead of just going through an entire stack of cards every time, it will keep track of which ones you miss and how often you miss them. Then, it will repeat those most missed questions. And if you keep getting the same ones right, you might not be asked it for a long time. You can set the time increments. If you did Brett's High Road Training Program, it's very similar to the review mode you go into when you miss something.

Yep. Daniel's thread is very helpful in regard to truck parts, especially to somebody who doesn't have that background or is mechanically inclined (like me!). I figured Old School and Tractor Man were commenting on how helpful Daniel's thread could be in regard to recognizing truck parts under the hood, but I just wanted to make sure you understood how important it is to study for the test using the info they gave you.
