If you have a place where a truck or truck and trailer can be stored on your property, and it's fenced, with security cameras, you can petition to store your truck on your property for home time.

Does this rule apply if your are empty and not under a load? Seems unusual to have to have maximum security for an empty trailer. Just curious.

I live in a subdivision, so I didn't look into it closely when it was discussed. My impression is that it is for empties. A truck and trailer is worth 150-400k depending on age and model, so even empty it's a tempting target. Stevens rarely sends you on home time with a loaded trailer - they will normally repower the load to someone and send you home bobtail , or with an empty trailer.

Bobtail:

"Bobtailing" means you are driving a tractor without a trailer attached.

I live out in the country and already have a parking spot for a bobtail due to having sung this song before. I was curious if anyone knew what Millis' policies are.
