I have been seriously considering becoming a truck driver and was interested in doing a company sponsored school, doing research and comparing companies. However, on 2-23-2016 I was convicted of reckless driving. This was my first ticket ever and I'm almost 30 years old, and not knowing how to handle court or what would've been best, I pled guilty to reckless driving, which I now understand was probably a big mistake, considering I could've asked for driving school to not have it on my record which I did not know at the time. Ughh.. I've really been discouraged after realizing that this conviction is going to put a real damper on me being hireable by most decent companies. Can I still find a decent company sponsored school that will accept me with my current MVR? And if so, does anyone have any suggestions of which company sponsored schools to take a look at??
