Welcome to the forum Peter. Most TL carriers will not recognize this as the type of experience they require.
Why only apply to one company? Many of the carriers represented here: Trucking Company Reviews will train an entry level driver.

Hello Everyone! I recently obtained my Class A on July 30th and I would love to drive a Class A vehicle. I am going through the recruiting process with a company that I really want to work for. I had a good road test and filled out all the tax paperwork etc. and the process looks like it's going to drag out. What looked like a sure thing is maybe not so sure. Keeping this in mind, I have a seasonal job offer from a small local oil company and they look to be very good people. I went out and got my hazmat and tanker endorsements for this position. This is a 6 month seasonal position and I need to work(straight truck tanker), Trucking school long course was a drain on finances. Many tractor trailer companies want to see 3 months to a year experience. Will any of these companies see this as valuable experience? Thanks in advance for your experienced opinions.
