A lot would depend on how long ago those convictions occurred and whether any parole associated with them has been completed. It's pretty tough to get a driving job with drug convictions, but people do it. If there's still active parole limiting travel out of state, that's generally a no go. I suppose there might be local jobs you might be able to get, but finding someone who will give you a chance with that as a rookie will be very difficult.
Depends on the nature of the convictions, and the length of time since disposition and completion of sentence (probation, parole, etc.).
Felony drug convictions may limit your ability to get a HazMat & TWIC card, and will certainly preclude entry into Canada.
That being said - simple possessions are easier to overcome than sales or trafficking charges. Multiple drug felonies, while common among addicts, is also going to highlight your issues with drug abuse (if this was the case), and create additional scrutiny.
A little more detail regarding the nature of your cases, penalties and time frame, might assist us in giving advice.
There are a few companies considered "second chance companies", that hire felons.

Explosive, flammable, poisonous or otherwise potentially dangerous cargo. Large amounts of especially hazardous cargo are required to be placarded under HAZMAT regulations
Truck drivers who regularly pick up from or deliver to the shipping ports will often be required to carry a TWIC card.
Your TWIC is a tamper-resistant biometric card which acts as both your identification in secure areas, as well as an indicator of you having passed the necessary security clearance. TWIC cards are valid for five years. The issuance of TWIC cards is overseen by the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.
