First I was sent to LA to pickup my truck after repairs. Then I had a delivery to Stockton and then a pickup in Turlock. This load has some extra time on it so I stopped by the house to spend a day with the wife and family.

My truck is a lot bigger than I thought it was. Knocked a few branches off trees just getting here.

Haha! Trust me, you don't want that house. We had a family live there for like 10 years and we were good friends a long time ago. But ever since then it's been idiots moving in and trashing the place.

Haha!

I did get compliments from all the neighbors though. One of my neighbors is like 75 and he used to drive truck 50 years ago in NJ. He says he never had a commercial license because the state didn't require it back then.

I let him start my truck and sit in the seat and look around so he can get some old memories back from his past. He absolutely loved it and says that the trucks he drove were nothing like mine and mine has like 10 times more space than his did. It started a good conversation that's for sure.

Just wanted to stop in here to laugh a little at that picture and congratulate Daniel for his moderator status which I didn't see last time I was here :)

Yeah, it's new :). Nothing changes but the red will definitely take some time getting used to.

I took my truck home once, and I took out a few branches along the way...but what a great feeling it was showing it off! Everyone was honking and waving at me, or maybe that was cause I was driving too slowrofl-1.gif

I was going to drop my trailer at a local truckstop and bobtail to my house for an overnight, but just in case I called the local police. They said no trucks, trailer or not, in residential areas unless delivering, and in no case overnight.

Surprised me, but I'm glad I checked.

"Bobtailing" means you are driving a tractor without a trailer attached.

Good thing there are rarely any cops passing by our place smile.gif
