If you are ever near Atlanta and want a great place to stop, there is an AmBest in Commerce about 50 miles north. It's on I-85, exit 147. The truck stop guide says there is supposed to be a travel plaza/Flying J, but they must have shut down. This stop is on Trucker Path, and the parking availability is fantastic all day/night. Clean restrooms, a Dunkin Donuts, Pizza and a sit down grill restaurant....friendly staff....and did I mention tons of parking?? 😃 I got here at 2230 last night, and the lot might have been a third full. It's definitely on my list as a go to spot now.
I know that place!!! As soon as I parked I got a load and had to roll.
Keep a record of places like that.
There is one in KS on I70 exit 70. Has huge lot and a great steakhouse across the street
