Hi Nancy,

It would not hurt to call the bank and have them put a note on his account the card is on, that he will be in Canada for a specific time. Sometimes the bank might decline thinking it is stolen as it is being used in a different country.

Comes from past experiance.

Saw that on another thread somewhere. I thought of going to the bank today but thought "ah, he could use to lose a couple of pounds". hehe. No really, if he has a problem there's a # on the back to call on line services. Immediate fix.

FYI, he will need 14 days of logs, not 7 as in the USA.

If he has taken reset before going to Canada (within the days of logs required) it should be for 36 hours as that's the requirement.

These are the most basic things I can add.

Not sure what that means. He did take a 34 hr reset in ND before he went thru last nite. Are you saying they have to have paper logs ?Cause he's got the qualcomm doing all the work for him.

Qualcomm:

Omnitracs (a.k.a. Qualcomm) is a satellite-based messaging system with built-in GPS capabilities built by Qualcomm. It has a small computer screen and keyboard and is tied into the truck’s computer. It allows trucking companies to track where the driver is at, monitor the truck, and send and receive messages with the driver – similar to email.
