What you are talking about is "Bench Probation"...in other words you just be a good boy until Feb/2014, and we will forget your name..So other than having a DUII within the last 7 years or so...you don't really have any problems..You will need to apply to a company that has a 7-10 limit on DUII's..but you should pull up your driving record, AND your criminal record, to make sure that they aren't seeing something that you don't know about....you can get your driving record from your state licensing, and your criminal record can be requested from any police agency..there may be a small fee.
Good luck, and keep on keepin' on...it may take you a while...but theres a company for you, and a truck seat that will fit your.......buns

It will be hard , but not impossible as StarCar as said. Getting those reports ahead of time will help. You can send them in with your application when applying. That will show you have nothing to hide and are learning from you mistake. We all make them!
If this is your first DUI you will be in better shape. Any more than that, it is going to be even harder. Insurance premiums have risen in the past few years, but many companies pay it either way. It's just part of the expense in doing business.
But know this. If you do it in that BIG RIG....not a good thing. I know you know better now so I won't harp on it. I just speak from experience as far as in a 4 wheeler. Thank God I was smart enough not to be drinking when I was driving my truck. I have had 2 DUI's in my life time and believe me trying to find work is hard. I am looking for specialized local work though, so that makes it even harder. But with the research I have done I have run across several companies that will hire if you fit into that 7 to 10 limit as StarCar says.
Good luck. Keep in touch.

We have an excellent listing of Truck Driving Jobs, including a feature where you can Apply For Truck Driving Jobs With One Application. All you can really do is rifle off all the applications you can and see who offers you an opportunity. And don't wait for them to call you. Wait a day or two max after applying and start calling companies like crazy. A lot of times they'll kinda let applications sit on a pile collecting dust. Be proactive and call them to make sure they're processing your app.

Hello all, I'm currently in Illinois (down by St. Louis, MO). I am on informal probation from a DUI in California in 2006. The probation was stopped back then and restarted when I had to redo some community service hours a couple months ago. Now, the probation ends on 02/08/14, but I have no probation officer, no restricted movement, and no responsibilities other than to obey the laws like every other citizen.
I'm currently in a driving academy and wanting to get hired. Found out today that the company who I thought for the past 2 weeks was going to pick me up won't. Sooo, does anyone know of a company that will pick me up? I want flatbed if possible, but when I graduate on the 8th, if I haven't found what I want, I'll take what I can get.
Any and all help/advice is appreciated.
