Great news. I sure hope you have given up drinking altogether. Booze and Trucking do not go well together at all. Best to abstain than risk your CDL and Career forever. Good luck!
CDL:
Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
- Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
- Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
- Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
- Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.
Yeap I probably drink about a beer or 2 every few weeks, which is a good thing compared to what I use to drink, but Im about to cut it out all together because I really don't have a taste for it anymore an I refuse to mess up on my second chance.

I just talked to a recruiter from Trans Am about my dui that I had in 2013, she was telling me that they go by the arrest date, i l pleaded guilty to this charge last year, she was telling me it doesn't matter because I wasn't arrested last year for it but 2013 for it, so that was great news for me Im 😄😄😄😄😄😄
