Hi there, just got a garmin dezl and it's asking for full dimensions of truck and trailer. What are the average dimensions for a freightliner columbia with a 53 foot trailer?

Approx.70-72 feet long bumper to bumper. I won't tell you how tall. You should know that like the back of your hand. Max Weight? Same as above.

Haha yeah 13'6" 80k lbs this thing asks for width also

You should know that too. Right in the CDL Manual

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.
