I love how these threads go off and take on a life of their own!

I've seen questions recently about home time, and I'm curious, do most truckers typically get home for Thanksgiving and Christmas? Or are those tough because of holiday traffic?

I just got into trucking and I wish my wife would drive team with me. I think it would be the best thing for us. She said she doesn't mind going along as long as it wasn't on overnighters, long hauls or in inclement weather. I think she is trying to tell me something! :)

I noticed that a couple of you mentioned something about a company sponsored school. Is that the same as the place I learned, just a company paid for the training?
