Hi I am an adult male 58 wanting to drive full time tired of my job and want to see the country. I have a perfect driving record and in good health. Am I to old to do this first of all and here is my utmost important question are there any companies or a way that I could drive and be allowed to take my wife of 26 years and our pet cat with me? My wife would love this but we do have a pet that is like a child since we never had any and she would not want me gone long periods but would love to go with me full time and not even have an actual home. I would appreciate any advice on these questions. thank you Ron Phoenix, Arizona

Hey Ron!!

You're not too old!!

Check out Prime Inc. After your training with them you can take your wife as a passenger with you and as long as your cat doesn't weigh more than 30lbs, kitty can go too!!

Welcome Ron. Look at the many different companies listed on here. Most of them have a rider policy after your training and several have pet policy's. And as far as your age goes. NO problem. I'm in week one of school with Roehl and I'm 53. Like you good health and clean records. It took Roehl 11 days to get me in a class. You seem like a top shelf canadate to me. Best of luck to you. I am writing a daily in the other forum of Roehl's school, and there are several others there also if you want a peak into what school is like.

Hi Ron, I’m 58 and no one seems to have a problem with it. The Schneider recruiter said that I have lots of good years left. I told her that I wanted to finish out my life as a truck driver, drive into the sunset. That’s when she said I have plenty of good years left.

Good luck!
