having to pay rent and getting a car
Move into a low rent area, don't keep any nice stuff in your apartment, who would steal it, and use UBER! You could possibly find another Driver on the acct to split the rent with. My Son and Daughter in law travel quite a bit. They have found that uber is cheaper than renting a car on the road. No parking hassles, no Insurance, no theft! (remember I suggested you move into a Ghetto)
Haha, rent isn't that much, I just don't want to spend it haha. I am 1 month away from paying off my student loan, thinking about just doing OTR one more year and then settling into something else. Uber is a life saver, I always uber around when I wasting time at a terminal or just wanting to get away from the trucking world.
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
