this sounds obvious, but read the question. i have missed a lot of questions in which i knew the correct answer. the terms "except" "all of these" "which is correct" etc. have tripped me up more than it would have if i had read the question until i fully understood what it wanted. are the tests timed and if so how long.

In Va. they are not timed,I can't speak about other states.Just relax and read every question twice or three times if need be.You know the material.Get a good night sleep, eat well, and clear that day of all distractions. You will do well.If I can do it so can you.Good luck!!

TWIC:

Transportation Worker Identification Credential

Truck drivers who regularly pick up from or deliver to the shipping ports will often be required to carry a TWIC card.

Your TWIC is a tamper-resistant biometric card which acts as both your identification in secure areas, as well as an indicator of you having passed the necessary security clearance. TWIC cards are valid for five years. The issuance of TWIC cards is overseen by the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.

Those that are timed give you WAY more time than you will need. As an example I took my hazmat test the other day and it was timed, I only had 4 hours to do the 30 questions lol.

They make the wording tricky to see if you are paying attention. So like you said, read each one carefully and you will do just fine.

HAZMAT:

Hazardous Materials

Explosive, flammable, poisonous or otherwise potentially dangerous cargo. Large amounts of especially hazardous cargo are required to be placarded under HAZMAT regulations

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.
