Well, I am starting my official blog today. I wasn't slated to go to JPT until July mainly due to the fact I had to order a new social security card and being that we just moved and couldn't find my birth certificate. Yesterday I had gone to get my eye exam and a new set of specs and my wife sent me a picture of my SSN card and birth certificate my son found while looking for some of his stuff in the storage unit. So I jumped up in down inside and emailed my recruiter and asked him if he could bump my arrival up. Got an email back and he said he would push it this week so hopefully, I will be out of here by next weekend and on my way to Montana.

Please make sure they know you are providing photo images of bot these documents and NOT the originals. Good luck!!

I think what he is saying is his son found the actual documents and his wife texted him a picture to show him they'd been found.

Minnis B, you are correct. My wife just texted me the photo to show me that they were found. I have the originals in my travel bag as I start packing to hopefully be out of here next weekend.

Definitely gonna be following this closely. I'm in a private school now so I'll have my CDL and all endorsements already and as of right now Jim Palmer is my number one pick when I finish in a few weeks followed by Werner and TMC.

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Was dealt a blow to starting my adventure this weekend. I have sleep apnea and I hadn't really been using it not going to lie. And I have to have 70% compliance in last 30 days. I have been using it but I wouldn't meet the compliance by this weekend. So my date has been pushed back to my original date of 10 July. My wife said you better have that machine on every night.

Sleep Apnea:

A physical disorder in which you have pauses in your breathing, or take shallow breaths, during sleep. These pauses can last anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes. Normal breathing will usually resume, sometimes with a loud choking sound or snort.

In obstructive sleep apnea, your airways become blocked or collapse during sleep, causing the pauses and shallow breathing.

It is a chronic condition that will require ongoing management. It affects about 18 million people in the U.S.
