Wow, thanks everyone for all the great posts. I am leaning towards Maverick, the one thing I find most impressive about the company is the training on the road. You run the truck as a solo driver and get 100% of all those training miles, not exact quote about sleeping in the top bunk while driving but I think it goes like this "You are not learning if your trainer is sleeping".
I have been watching the training diary of Dale Clay, very insightful and entertaining. For me he has helped take away a lot of the anxiety of the whole training process and explains in detail the day to day ups and downs of the business. Maverick appears to care about the success of there drivers, I find it interesting they only expect a 6 month commitment to cover the cost of training, I wonder why that is? Going to spend a few hours today looking at videos of other Maverick drivers to get others perspective on this company.
