Good news. I passed my DOT physical, and got my 2yr card. My only question about it is how does 20/10 in the right eye and 20/10 vision in the left eye equal 20/20 vision in both eyes? My BP, wiz quiz, bend twist and squat tests were all easy squeezy. I also went down and got fingerprinted for my HAZ-MAT endorsement. So all in all a pretty productive day.

And on top of it all I talked to an EX from 18 yrs ago and she has no hard feelings.

DOT:

Department Of Transportation

A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.

State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.

Congrats on passing the physical! That's always a relief no matter how healthy you are. That thing can be a complete show stopper.
