When u upgrade with prime get your first company truck what should I expect ? Are there any choices? Can I have a Peter built, do I have to take a lite weight. Are they stripped inside, no radio, no microwave, no refrigerator??

You can request a condo. Most are Freighters. You won't get a choice of brand. You will not have to take a lightweight.

If you don’t take the truck that’s assigned to you, you’ll have to wait until another truck of your liking is available. You’ll have to pay for your hotel while you wait.

Music radio is standard equipment but not a C.B. radio. Fridge & microwave is on you to pay for. The new ones offered at company store is $224 plus tax. Mine were both used by a former flatbedder that was leaving on the same day as I upgraded. I paid $60 for a dorm fridge, 700W microwave & 2 bags filled with food. He didn’t want to carry it all home.

In the lightweight, we remove the passenger seat & strap the fridge/microwave together in that space.

Now here’s something to help you in deciding about brand choice. The lightweight is shorter than a condo. This makes it easier to fit in tight spots. A freightliner condo is shorter than a peterbuilt one also.
