Hope your feeling better, I think I had that about a month ago. My hip hurt so bad on one side, think I took some cold medicine once, didn't do a thing. it lasted several weeks, got sick a week ago again, but this time, lots of cold meds and it worked. I really didn't want to go to school sick. The first day is the DOT physical. It is a real bad bug going around, Get Well Soon! Next time I'm going to try the tea with raw honey.

The tea was my miracle cure......but a warning...I first tried store bought honey....didn't do a thing for my throat....A friend brought me RAW honey (she left it on the fence post, then called me LMFAO). I put it in my tea 2 times,,,waaaalaaaa....my sore throat healed right up...I also drink raw milk...people really need to look into the benefits of going RAW...milk has son many good things going for it...then they boil the crap out of it, then add chemicals to it...then sell it to you and convince you its good for you .I have a milk cow, chickens, and friends who barter with me for other RAW stuff....life is good
I'm hoping I get a load going up to Wa state, I'd get a crate of cherries from Yakima and finally have some tasty apples. Never buy fruit anymore since I left that area, doesn't taste the same
Yup....I eat alot of fruit during the season here...and its ALL good. BUT....I miss the Vidalia onions from GA...and the peaches from NC...and...the moonshine from NC..lol. We would get into GA, and TSB would buy me Vidalia's when we got to the town...and I'd eat them like apples for days...they don't keep well...but I'd gladly pay overnight shipping, just to get some...lol
WOW!!! That was some bad crap you had! I sure hope you feel better now. To bad you didn't have that NC moonshine WITH the RAW honey, that would have killed it! LOL Some years ago, I was sick like that and my last resort was the liquor store. An old country woman told me to sip on some ROCK N RYE and add peppermint or honey to it, so I did...and THAT my friend, broke my fever and I was like a new person the next morning!! I now keep that good ole ROCK N RYE in my cabinet! lol
However, I started juicing last year and that keeps all the bad bugs away. My recipe is:
handful of kale (or two) 1/2 cucumber 2 carrots 1 gala apple (so sweet) 1 navel orange 3-5 strawberries thumb size of a ginger root ( if I want "detoxing")
Juice it all up and TaaaaDaaaa ...a natural defense for your body.
I stopped drinking milk 3 years ago and I do not miss it and I feel better. I've never tried RAW milk, I wouldn't even know where to find it around here. Sounds interesting.
I am going to miss my juicer when I go on the road with Jeff. Unless anyone would know where to find a "truck friendly" juicer !?
A friend brought me RAW honey (she left it on the fence post, then called me LMFAO).
That was funny!
I don't think theres any reason why you can't juice up your stuff,, and put it in zip lock bags...and freeze it.I do that with alot of stuff. Freeze it flat, so it will fit in the little freezer in the truck fridge ( hope you get one in your truck)... I can't drink store bought milk....rips my tummy up bad.....But I can drink Raw milk...all I want !!! I'm tellin' ya, they have figured out that if they feed us enough chemicals..when we die, they won't have to embalm us...just toss us in a hole !!!
I have no idea why I didn't think of that! DUH!!! Freezing is an awesome idea. We plan to have a freezer and as many other possible "gadgets" to make life on the road a little easier...even though there is nothing easy about it. LOL

I got the infamous H1N1...or whatever they are calling it.....and I NEVER get anything !!! It started so innocently...like an allergy (which I have a ton of), so I kinda ignored the sneezing and sniffling...til I woke up with my throat so sore I thought I'd swallowed that acid you use to boil out radiators with....then the fever...and headache, and overnight, while I was sleeping, someone beat my body until it hurt to feel my heartbeat. I couldn't taste, couldn't smell, couldn't breathe, and didn't want to do any of the above...well, breathing, maybe. and then...the thing I hate most...THE COUGHING !!!! I hate to cough...I'd rather take a beating...I became a mushroom on the couch...drinking anything real hot, or anything real cold, to numb my throat...and waiting for that really nice fever I wanted ,of about 103...so I could dive in the shower..get really warm..and wrap up in my heated blanket, and cook the damned bug to death !!! sadly, I have yet to get the fever I want...I just have a full time low grade fever of about 100*..But I have kept myself full of MucinexDM, so I don't plug up, or get a lung thing going...and I have now bought stock in Kleenex...AND..the one thing that healed my raw throat...drum roll please....mint tea, with RAW honey in it..I'd tried tea with store bought honey...didn't work...but the raw honey...it was like a skin graft !!!! And wouldn't you know it...when you have a sore throat that hurts so bad you won't even answer your husband...everyone calls you on the phone !!! I think they just want to hear you croak....
So if you fell yourself or someone comeing down with this stuff....its bad...and you can't wait it out....I never go to the Dr...but I seriously considered it this time...but the raw honey saved the say.....
Take care !!!!!

Drive-A-Check Report
A truck drivers DAC report will contain detailed information about their job history of the last 10 years as a CDL driver (as required by the DOT).
It may also contain your criminal history, drug test results, DOT infractions and accident history. The program is strictly voluntary from a company standpoint, but most of the medium-to-large carriers will participate.
Most trucking companies use DAC reports as part of their hiring and background check process. It is extremely important that drivers verify that the information contained in it is correct, and have it fixed if it's not.
