How much should I have available, be it in cash or credit when driving with a mentor.? As a solo driver, not Counting toys. Just expenses. On average how much should I carry or expect to spend in average week? What expenses should I expect, other than food, occasional clothing, boots, gloves ect.

That's a really tough question. The answer kind of depends on your needs and wants. Some can get by on x, others prefer to have y on hand. Sometimes your needs may be dependent on which division you're in, or what your company provides (lumper fees, EZPass, etc.)

Excluding my basic needs, I like to keep at least $100 in cash on my truck at all times for incidentals (tolls, tips, unplanned purchases). Beyond that I always have my debit card to pull more money out if needed. I'm a cash kind of guy. Some folks like the plastic.
