Company Recommendations In South Florida?

Hello everyone my name is Mario and first of all I wanted to thank all of you for the awesome info. that is posted on this forum,

Long story short: my wife and I would like to start our career as team drivers but South Florida isn't exactly a big hiring spot for many companies, so I wanted to ask if anyone has any recommendations when it comes to companies that train or hire new CDL drivers down here.

Any help is greatly appreciated,

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

You could inquire at CRST . I believe they might fit your needs if you are looking to team and get a good start. I have asked around and heard they will accept drivers in FLA not sure if the whole state but worth the attempt.
