I can't say that I know much about them either, but apparently they have a little yard near my house. I have gotten 2-3 unsolicited calls from them also offering me a dedicated run home 3-4 days a week paying like 1200-1500 a week. I however have no desire right now to back OTR even with that hometime. Like you I wonder how they got my number and my email.
A driver or carrier who transports cargo between regular, prescribed routes. Normally it means a driver will be dedicated to working for one particular customer like Walmart or Home Depot and they will only haul freight for that customer. You'll often hear drivers say something like, "I'm on the Walmart dedicated account."
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.

Sofa King...........
Does anybody remember the 'old' (yeah way old) bar joke, that included those words, that you would write on a napkin, and have some drunk or impaired customer read it?
Well, I won't post it here... recollect. Trucking related? Somewhat. Our good buddy Todd is busy getting kicked elsewhere, again. Nuisance.
ON A TRUCKERS NOTE... does anyone know about Transport National, here in Ohio? OS/OD/HH .. something along those lines. IDK how they got my husband's number; been soliciting him pretty hard. He's not a flatbedder; only did in offseason while hauling asphalt about 5 years ago.
Almost wish Pat Motz was still around.
