Hey Folks,

I am currently enrolled in CDL school and looking at perspective future employers. So far I have narrowed my list down to the two. McElroy Truck Lines and Paschall Truck Lines INC. I know being a new CDL holder with no experience that I won't get paid a huge amount. I know that I need to limit home time so I can learn my craft. My question is can any of you guys give me any pointers on which company may be the better one to go with. I am a skeptical person, both companies recruiters promised the moon and I know for a fact most of it won't be done but still any company that would hire a newbie would have to be an alright company right? IF neither of these companies are a good starter company can you guys suggest one that would better?

Many Thanks, Country T

  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.
