So today I’m cruising down I 10 headed to Jacksonville. I’m in the right lane black suv pulls beside me. He’s just riding right next to my door. I glance in mirror semi coming up fast on him. Semi gets on his bumper and starts blowing his air horn. I tap my break to come off the cruise. I can’t really brake to much traffic. SUV is still beside me. Now I’ve give them enough room either could have gotten in front of me. Finally suv gives and moves over. The semi first with his truck and twice with his trailer tried to push the guy off the road. Scared the crap out of me. Crazy people!

TWIC:

Transportation Worker Identification Credential

Truck drivers who regularly pick up from or deliver to the shipping ports will often be required to carry a TWIC card.

Your TWIC is a tamper-resistant biometric card which acts as both your identification in secure areas, as well as an indicator of you having passed the necessary security clearance. TWIC cards are valid for five years. The issuance of TWIC cards is overseen by the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.

Just wait, Donna...you will see worse.

Two side notes here: You were right in braking and letting g him come over. Always allow yourself an escape route in case you need to change lanes in an emergency situation.

Also a professional driver never looks for a confrontation. Sure these does make you angry but don't show it.

You retaliate and then they retaliate back. It escalates until someone gets hurt or killed. Maybe that someone is an innocent bystander.

That’s what scared me the most, I had no way out. Once I saw him swerve I flipped my hazards on , so people behind would be aware I was slowing down. But I had traffic beside me and behind. I -10 in that area has no emergency lanes.

Sometimes you have to pop the flashers and slowly slow down to get some distance, even if you are holding up traffic behind you
