Laura... any updates yet??? Happy for your new truck/upcoming 'back in the saddle' moments!

Heck, I'm waiting to GET in the saddle myself; as soon as my 'youngest' graduates, I plan on joining the likes of G'Town myself! (Got my hearing aid, finally..well, implant. Hoping SPE isn't too tough!)

Hope all is well w/you for sure.. ya got me hooked on your posts, fellow female, haha!

Be safe;

Annie :)

Howdy! I saw this and then it disappeared.

Well, I should have known better. I thought I was on medical leave (because they held my truck for 7 weeks) and the pee test would be like the call to "Come in to the office because you have been selected" and then you head out. Nope, it's like a new hire type, so no truck until it comes back, hopefully Mon. Think my brainpan was affected by the AFib...but it's okay I am getting more energy if I don't overdo and am getting stuff done in the house. Been cooking and freezing a bunch of different meals to take on the truck and reheat in my Hot Logic Mini. Hate cooking, but dislike truck stop food even more.

I'll get the truck as soon as I'm cleared and bring it to the house to load it. Giltner, sister company to GLS Carriers is swapping out 2018s for newer ones, so I may end up with a '19 or '20. Having a dog, I'd rather have an older truck cause he sheds a lot. :-P
