The lack of room is EXACTLY the reason why I am avoiding truck stops until my backing gets better.

The cool thing about driving Amazon freight is that you dobt have to park it in the spot they assign you. If the spot they assign you is in between two trailers and you arent comfy with it. Find an empty spot park and go.

I've opted for that for now. Never been an issue with Amz. In fact more than one guard has thanked me for my honesty about my backing and that to dont want to damage their equipment or mine.

That said I am working toward the day when I can do that. The holidays are fast approaching and I need to expand my comfort zone by then as I may not have the option to do as I have.

Also, I see alot of Prime wagons on 84 both ways often wondered if you were in one of em. Love your youtubes channel. Thank you , your videos have kept me going and made me lol when I needed it, especially earlier this year when it seemed that my chips were down.

Hopefully we get to meet on the road and say hi at least!

PJ yes... many of my customers have trains running products into them and the horns and brakes screeching are crazy. Also so many trucks and yard dogs constantly blowing horns or beeping when backing up. ... some places really stuck to sleep. Most truck stops quiet down as the night goes on.. many of my reefer customers get busier.

If you read the article, the truck backing did not bother to even GOAL because the diagram clearly shows he was setup to back into a space already taken by another Swift driver. He basically need to do an offset in which I'm sure he didn't have enough room.

Goal people

Guess I pick the wrong truck stops.. Always trucks running, usually the loud ones and I seem to have a knack of getting around folks that like to talk loud. When I hauled headstones I got spoiled taking my breaks in cemetaries. Nice and quiet at night. I go to several customers that do let us shutdown there that are actually in the woods. I appreciate them alot.
