Forum Question: Search Or Private Messages?

I have read information on many forums over the years. Most have a search box to help find information. Many also have a way to send private messages to other participants. For the life of me, I cannot find either in this forum. If they exist, please help me locate them. By the way, as one who is just beginning to hope for transitioning to a truck driving occupation, I find [most of] the information here invaluable (or is it "valuable" or, are those two the same?).

. Private messaging has been disabled due to people misusing it. We prefer all discussions be out in public so all members can learn from them. We have a lot of people that just read posts and don't know what they don't know. By keeping everything in the open we're able to also help make sure its accurate info. It also helps avoid people lying about a company for referral money.
