This is a site to help people get a good start in trucking. Few on here will be able to answer your question. You may want to go to OOIDA.
Good luck.

I looked around and found little said about the older Volvo’s specifically a Volvo vnmt2 with Detroit 60 series.
My individual truck knowledge is well out of date, got out in 05, and even then my experiance was either older auto cars and macks or current then sterlings. And freightliners. Only Volvo i ever dealt with was an absolute problem child. Had a dt engine,..
Kept all my licensing current, And my self up to date on the ever changing regulations. I have an opportunity to start doing a dedicated run as a0/0 cdl hotshot . stumbled upon a local Documented maintenance Very clean 64k Yeah for real 64,000 (farmer) current dot inspection 2001 vnmt2 sleeper Volvo with a Detroit 60 and nine speed , it seemingly fits my needs to perfection. And under 10,000 Out the door price. I have no engine concerns, I’ve still got my grandads first wrecker with a screaming Jimmy in it lol runs like a raped ape. 50 years plus later and lots of stone cold abuse. Of course I don’t actually have familiarity with a 60 series, but my experiance with Detroit’s is they are a go ahead make my day engine.
The big question is this model a solid unit, And expected mileage rarely exceeding 35k gross combined. I just can’t seem to find any legit info on this model. If a worthy by any input especially any maintenance tips or watch for this/that gremlin is appreciated.
CDL:
Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
Dedicated Run:
A driver or carrier who transports cargo between regular, prescribed routes. Normally it means a driver will be dedicated to working for one particular customer like Walmart or Home Depot and they will only haul freight for that customer. You'll often hear drivers say something like, "I'm on the Walmart dedicated account."
DOT:
Department Of Transportation
A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.
State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.
