In my area there are companies that advertise "1 day CDL" . Basically they allow you a few hours to get comfortable with the equipment (shifting) then take you to the DMV for your test. In my area (Iowa) it runs about $500. Otherwise contact schools in the area and see if you can work something out.
CDL:
Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
- Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
- Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
- Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
- Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.DMV:

I just moved out to Colorado to start a new life, ive had my Class A for almost 2 years now. I want to get my automatic restriction taken off, ive tried searching a dozen of times of getting it taken off but it always comes back to the same thing that i will need to go back to truck driving school. Are there any companies out there that specifically help people get their restriction taken off?
