A bit of necro'ing the thread...but should be final update.

Finished up orientation and will be heading out with my trainer this weekend. Also got my payment plan with CRST setup. Super excited to get back out on the road and behind the wheel again.

BUMP~!!!!

Sorry, been out with the trainer for a week now and LOVING it. Trainer is a good dude and has been helping out a lot. Not holding my hand but guiding me when I need it. Got to the receiver, checked in, backed into the dock, unloaded, without any guidance last night.

Looks like about another week before I get upgraded to my own truck and go solo. If the hours and loads work out that is.

So all in all...I am SUPER happy here.

I figured you were either SUPER busy, or .. sadly, dropped out.

I'm SOOOOOO HAPPY it's not the latter!!! Yay!

Let us know when you upgrade; might see you out on the road(s) someday; my husband delivers to Pepperidge Farms, right there on 224 ~!!

Would your trainer's name be Brian, perchance? (Asking for a friend, haha!) Also, do you 'team' train? Leme know when you can, and again....KUDOS!!!

Haha, yeah I will let you know. Shouldn't be too much longer. Once I get back to Ohio I should be around 130hrs out of the 200 needed to upgrade. My trainer's name is Nate. Good guy and been with the company for 4yrs. Also, we have been dispatched as team. Our first few days out was solo, but we've been team since.

Side note: I'm done with the winter storms and weather...I'm ready for the spring and summer.

Don't know Nate. Juan still there in the office, kinda like the T/C (Training Coordinator?)

I'm excited to hear; you are getting so close to UPGRADE!! Awesome!

(No rush getting to Ohio. We are supposed to get 9 to 12" over the next 2 days!)

Be safe; thanks for the reply!!

Don't think there is anyone named Juan here...the 2 I know who coordinate the orientation and training is Jeff and Louis, mainly Jeff and Louis helps him out.

Yeah I heard about the storm coming in. Checked the radar and it's stretching from St. Louis down to New Orleans and just moving like a big wall north east. Will be a few days before we get back in that direction. Got a 4 stop load and our first drop-off isn't until Wednesday. So won't be until this weekend more than likely until we START to head back. Glad I'm missing out though, anyone else out there be safe, the storms this year have been relentless and unforgiving.

Luis ~!!! That's IT~!!! Silly me, dangit, haha!

Do you know, is Brian still there, training? Is a guy named Luc (he's oriental and has an odd x'something name for real, but goes by Luc) still there? Just wondering. I 'kinda' helped hook him up there, too...LoL!

Super happy for you. Stay FAR BEHIND this storm.

I'm worrying soooo much r/n about my man going out in this. You've no clue.

ps: PackRat & PJ .... y'all might have a 'whiner' tonight!!! Just saying. . . . . .

Good to hear. Tell him Tom's wife says hi (and Tom also / G13Tomcat.) Brian may have gotten too injured in that rollover during training 'one of our own' from TT to go back. Email in my bio, LoL.

If and when I meet him, I'll make sure to tell him. 🙂
