I feel your pain. I hate multi pick up/delivery loads. It always seems like there is one link in the chain that screws up the timetable. I hope you get out of there soon.

Shipper number one finally got me out of there about 45 minutes after I commented above. That put me into Charlotte during rush hour. I did get here about 1715 and had to wait for two trucks in the dock to get loaded first. Now it's my turn and hopefully they'll be done shortly. Also hopefully the rush hour will be done so I can head out and do about 250 miles or so.

The broker just called and was apologizing for the mix-up today. I told him I did 14 years on active duty Air Force, so I was used to hurrying up and waiting. I also told him that, unless there was weird weather, I would be there Wednesday night and if he could change the appointment to earlier Thursday, I would appreciate that. He said he would try. That will allow me to load the next load earlier.

Welcome to my last two days.

Detention at two shippers and one receiver for the last two trips.

"I love the customers, I love the customers, I love the customers..." Everybody sing!

Are you sure you want us to sing?? LOL

I once had a trailer full of pallets. I don't remember how many were in there. But they were stacked floor to ceiling, front to back and side to side.

They got 24 straight in...with room enough for load locks in the back. The boxes of shortening hung over the pallets.
