I have a 2022 Freightliner Cascadia with the PasSmart feature. I can't figure out any method for when it resets. I get 15 minutes per block but some days it seems to reset twice, other days only once. It seems to reset at different times so I can't nail it down. I've had this truck since the beginning of August but only realized it had this feature sometime in September. A few times I should have had time available but it wouldn't kick on, I'm assuming it had no time left. Today for instance, at 1400ish I had 10 minutes left when I went to my shipper. 5 hours later when I left it had zero time and wouldn't come on. How do I find out when/why it resets and where the missing time Is going? Any help or answers will be greatly appreciated.

Shipper:

The customer who is shipping the freight. This is where the driver will pick up a load and then deliver it to the receiver or consignee.

TWIC:

Transportation Worker Identification Credential

Truck drivers who regularly pick up from or deliver to the shipping ports will often be required to carry a TWIC card.

Your TWIC is a tamper-resistant biometric card which acts as both your identification in secure areas, as well as an indicator of you having passed the necessary security clearance. TWIC cards are valid for five years. The issuance of TWIC cards is overseen by the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.

Mikey B.

Do you have a shop that set it up? My shop did two different trucks I drove and did it differently both times... So I went and talked to them to see what it was they did. Then they set up this one to do 75 on the floor 😁

It came with it like this. I guess it is a factory setting. I called a freightliner dealership and nobody could answer it for me. Nobody really knew who to ask there. I figured one of y'all might have experience with it.

Last night I parked about 2030 and supposedly had about 10 minutes left as I used it just prior to exiting. This morning I left around 0830 and had nothing, no time at all. I kept checking it by double pumping the gas pedal and got 15 minutes back about 1740 this evening. I just can't figure it out. I don't want to have to watch 30 YouTube videos either...lol.

Hahaha, at least I feel less dumb now since nobody seems to know much about this feature!!!
