Can anyone recommend a good trucking-related FB group to join/follow? I’ll try to keep my expectations realistic, but it would be cool if it were maybe 75% trucking-related, and only 25% the sexual humor of 12 yr old boys.

Howdy Tania! Again, welcome. Many companies have their 'own' groups... maybe yours does?

I know 'this' forum has one, but it's not super active.

My suggestion??? Our member .. Vicki M. ~ she's a Wilson (Ashley?) driver here; search her! Quite the gal ...for sure!

My advice: >>>Friend Vicki Matter on Facebook ( I have, she drives for Wilson !! ) and she's got a few she will gear you /guide you to.

Other than that, MANY companies OF THEIR OWN have their own groups. For instance? Prime Time Grinders. I'm a member, vis a vis a friend.

I hear you on the 'humor' scale. Yeah, nope! Follies and such. . . . nope; no thanks! Here's another one: Trucker's Family and Friends. It'safe.

You could also follow Kearsey! Here: Truckin' Along with Kearsey

She will guide ya to a few; pretty sure. Again, you don't HAVE to drive for Prime .. to get into their 'group' per se.

Wish you the best, Tania!!!

Most of the trucking groups on FB should be avoided. However, I belong to CDLLife, Cooking on the Truck, Freightwaves and Truckers Haven.

Wow! Thank you all for the advice. I was starting to be a bit horrified by what I was seeing and had a hunch I might get somewhere if I asked the other women in the forum!

Yep, Ms. Laura is right. CDLlife is an awesome, interactive app.

Another Y/T'er to follow is : The Asian Mai Show.

And a personal friend of mine, who does a lot of 'live' Y/T videos, totally interactive chats: ScottieD67 .

Yeah, stay away from "Twisted Truckers" on Fb, and the likes, LoL!!

"Ask a Veteran Driver" is very good. Respectful posts (moderators will kick out the bad apples), help with all sorts of questions. Very educational.

"Tackling the unknown truckers with pets helping each other" was started at the beginning of the pandemic when we did not know if rules for pets would change; it has morphed into a small-ish group of people who share general info. on things we encounter in trucking, and life style issues (diet / exercise / mental health, etc.)

"Daily Forecast and Road Conditions for Truckers" is excellent! Upcoming weather for the nation, and people post current conditions where they are - weather, accidents, construction, you name it. Super helpful for trip planning.
