I'm leaving Detroit MI tomorrow and heading to McMinnville OR. I've got some extra time on load due to the holiday. What are your favorite spots to eat or shop or places I should just stop and see on 80???

If you need to do shopping at a Walmart, exit 237, Lexington NE has truck parking on both sides of the building.

Exit 71 on I-84 in Idaho, the Boise Stage Stop has a good restaurant.

Across i-84 in Oregon has lots of scenery and places to stop and look at.

I'll think of some more when I park tonight, you're in my stomping grounds. I live 10 miles as the crow flies south of I-84 at exit 157 in Idaho.

I have heard of the stage stop, I'm gonna put that on my list. Thanks for the info I'll be watching to see what else you think of.

McMinnville is my home town! Where is your delivery? What time? Our yard is in the middle of town at the creamery. The nearest big truck stops are on I-5 at exit 278. Mac is about 45 minutes from there. The main attraction in Mac is the Spruce Goose museum. I'm not sure if they'll let you in with a trailer though, might want to call first if you decide to try it.

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

The WM in Laramie also has some truck parking for shoppers.

If anyone has time, later this month (21-30 July) is Cheyenne Frontier Days. A must see if you follow the rodeo events.
