I have a suspension on my record less than 5 years old and I’ve still been able to find jobs. I already have driving experience though so Idk how hard of a time you’d have. I wouldn’t imagine you’d be wasting your time getting your cdl but I don’t know for sure. Best bet is call up a few trucking companies that take newbies and ask them directly

Hello! I have two old suspensions that are the only thing listed on my motor vehicle report
One of them is: FAILED TO PAY TRAFFIC FINE(PENALTY) which has COURT REQ MET - FEE PAID back in 2022. The other one is: SCHOOL ELECTED WHEN NOT ELIGIBLE back in 2022 which has COURT REQ MET - FEE PAID back in 2022.
My drivers license has not been suspended since then. The moving violations are not on my mvr so I have 0 points being reflected and no tickets. I got the traffic violations taken care of through court to not have on my record.
My question is: Do you think I am wasting my time trying to obtain my CDL license. I am looking at their schooling and employment.
