Hello Bill, and welcome to our forum!
I'm thinking we don't have any US Xpress drivers in here, but I think I can give you a little advice.
Most truck driver training programs are similar. Expect it to be challenging. Sometimes it is downright difficult. It's one of those things that can be frustrating and exhilarating at the same time.
Orientation will be a lot of information crammed concisely into a few days. Pay good attention - make notes if needed.
Driver training will be intense days and nights living with your trainer on the truck. Don't expect to go home until training is over and you've run a couple of loads in your own truck. It's just not easy living in a truck with a total stranger while training.
Keep focused on the end game. It's a short time to endure before getting out here on your own. You'll have plenty of time to clear your mind once you are solo. Hang in there. That's part of what makes a great truck driver. They stick with it until they've accomplished the goal.
Roll on brother, and please keep us posted on how you're doing. If you have concerns during training, feel free to bring them here. Collectively, we've probably experienced all of it. We will be glad to help or encourage you if needed.

Anyone been through the US Xpress student training program? I was told it’s 3 days of orientation and 3 weeks OTR. What can I expect
OTR:
Over The Road
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
