Probably not, because that suspension isn't counted from the date of suspension, it is counted from the date the suspension is resolved. The only thing that will for sure help you, is to pay the reinstatement fee, and get time between the suspension and, and your application.

I am 53 and I want to operate a semi. I have no experience and will need training. My driver license was suspended in 2017 for failing to pay a ticket for a tail light. I recently found out about the suspension when I went to get my license changed over from Arkansas to Iowa. I owe $200 reinstatement fee that will be paid this week. Other then that I have a clean driving record. Is there a trucking company that can train me and put me to work?
