Both trucking companies have an interest in me and I'm not sure who to go with since I am a new in the industry, I have read mixed reviews about Werner and it's hard to find more up-to-date information on Danny Herman. I want the best training possible not so much worried about pay at the moment since I am new and you have to work your way from the bottom to the top, I am curious as to people's interactions with these companies, any advice would be grateful.

Interest in you is different from a job offer. Don't get to selecting until you are possessing job offers.

Looks like Danny Herman is a bit of a smaller organization. That’s not necessarily a bad thing but……they might be less likely to be forgiving with rookie mistakes. Their site also states that they are looking for experienced drivers. I worked for Werner and have no complaints. I do think with them that training opportunities and multiple accounts are a benefit. Other than the website I don’t know much about DHT. If this is your first trucking job I would apply to MULTIPLE places and check your options. Nothing wrong with a bigger carrier for a new (or even experienced) driver.
