Driving Record Before CDL

I plan on attending CDL school on June 2nd, before I make the payment I want to know if I'll be able to get a job with a speeding ticket. I got the ticket in December of 2024, it was for 37 over. Cop didn't give me reckless op thankfully, told me to just pay my ticket online and go about my day. I looked at my driving record and the ticket still isn't showing up. I want to know incase it does will I be able to receive a Job once I finish school. Thank you in advance for any help and information

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Hi. And no. U won't get a job, not for 3 years. So don't bother paying the school. They will tame ur monwy and brag about job placement which is just a list of companies.

Btw. 15mph is reckless driving. Weather they cheaged you with it or not does not make a difference. You could get it expunged and trucking companies will find it. No hiding it.

Learn from this and slow down.
