Yeah, once we have this forum really solid then I'll close the other one entirely to new posts. I've already stopped signing people up for the other one and they're going to start coming in here.

The other forum will still be there to view, but we just won't be using it anymore. It will be read-only.

Man, I totally agree. Helping people out should be a huge priority for everyone in their day to day lives and the reward is knowing you made someone's day a little better. A little help goes a long, long way.

That goes hand in hand with having a great attitude - attitudes are contagious.

That's why I'm hoping this website will help people understand how difficult it is to be a driver and help them go into it with a great attitude. The better their attitude, the better life will be for everyone - themselves included.

If they can learn to get along well with people and stay positive in the face of hardships, it will make all the difference in the world for them and for the people they come across out there.

I was hoping that was the reason I never got signed up on the old forum. I sent the request just a couple hours before you posted the thread indicating this forum was ready.

This site has given me so much information in a positive tone so far. I'm glad to have the opportunity to be a member.

Hey, we're glad to have ya!

Yeah, this forum is just getting goin. I still have a ton of features to add and right now I'm trying to get all the feedback I can on the look and function of it. But it's definitely "good enough for government work" right now so we can roll with it. Just be aware that you might find some errors from time to time or features suddenly popping up that weren't there a minute ago. I'm working on it everyday behind the scenes here.

Hey, I see you were assigned one of my favorite trucking pics for your avatar. When people signup I assign them a random image from the group. You just happen to get one of the coolest ones!

I thought it was pretty cool too. My first thought was that it's a ton better than default avatars on other forums (of any subject, not just trucking).

Oh, I know - creativity at it's best, ya know? Let's see, what should be our default avatar - a paisley thatch? A gray, faceless head? Maybe just a gray box? Dumb. LoL! I figured, "Hey, ya can't go wrong with pictures of cool rigs, right? :-)
