Tonight is the first "day" of class. I signed up for the 8 week long evening course, M-F 5-10PM. Should graduate first week of July. Program is 200 hours and usually the class limit is 6 students. For some reason, it will only be me and another fella. Talk about having LOTS of time to practice in the yard and road skills!!!

For all you PA residents near the York, PA area, here's the school. I don't mind plugging the school at all, Chris (owner) is a really cool guy. Cost is about middle of the road at $5K

Great to hear from you! Hope Springfield's treating you well smile.gif

Thankfully they never even bothered to look at my driving record, hoping the companies don't either. embarrassed.gif

Good Luck Bill W. Started classes today 7am to 4pm with two 30 min breaks (which I thought was a waste of time) and one hr for lunch. Requested extra hours to enable me finish by end of May. There are 3 other students who started with me today (at the yard). After the first one hour I was beginning to wonder if I made the right decision. But by the end of day, I was sure I will make it by end of month......

Best of luck Bill! I never would have thought there would be evening classes....duh, like no one drives in the dark, lol. Although this time of year you would have more daylight than in the winter I suppose. Looking forward to hearing how things go.
